My dog passed away this morning 2/1. He got loose around midnight when he escaped the backyard gate. All night I searched on foot, my car couldn’t drive due to my long drive way covered in snow. He came back hours later and I realized very quickly he was dying from hypothermia. My boy passed 10am today in my arms. I have toddlers and read his body would start to decompose and leak bodily fluids. I didnt want them to see this. They said their goodbyes and we sat with him. I didn’t have anyone home to help me lift his 60lb body so I dragged him outside the door. I don’t know what to do. I can’t bury him as I rent. I can’t have him cremated because I don’t have the funds. Does anyone have any options? My driveway is still covered so I couldn’t take him to the vet to see what my options were. I am trying to see if I can get him cremated and receive some if not all of his ashes. Any contribution would and thank you to each condolence my family and Lakai recieved
